VT 365 (6.0) Crank No Start Checklist

[ First of all buy a scanner able to scan parameters on these trucks ]

1. Check oil at the dipstick make sure its above add mark.

2. Have someone crank engine and push down plunger at oil filter housing. If oil comes up your Low Oil Pressure Pump is getting oil thru the system.

3.If no oil is getting in the oil filter housing check the oil regulator located near the LPOP now by the crankshaft damper in front of the engine, you need a Allen Key to remove, check for grimy and or stick oil left on the spring, clean it off and inside regulator and install.

4. If sill no crank no start, look at values on a scanner, Sync, Ficm Sync, ICP Pressure above 500, IPR Duty Cycle,.
